Sonia George, PMHNP – BC

Sonia George, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who provides psychiatric care for children, teens, and adults. At MedCare Clinics, Sonia provides expert mental health care in the Houston, Texas, area. 

Sonia earned her nursing degree at Mahatma Gandhi University in India. She later went on to earn her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she graduated with special distinction. 

Since 1996, Sonia has established a strong foundation of nursing skills across several fields, including cardiac care and psychiatry. She’s now a mental health nurse practitioner specializing in conditions such as depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and bipolar disorder.
