Payal Patel, PMHNP – BC

Payal Patel, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatry. In her role at MedCare Clinics, Payal treats patients of all ages in the practice’s comfortable North Houston, Texas, office. Alongside that work, Payal is a consultation liaison at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. 

Payal earned her nursing degree at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. She then went on to DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, where she earned her master’s degree in nursing.

Payal has worked in the psychiatric nursing field for about a decade. She was inspired to enter the field when she observed the state of mental health in the United States, with many communities struggling to get high-quality psychiatric care. 

In her work at MedCare Clinics, Payal helps patients in need get the supportive, personalized mental health care they need to cope with challenges successfully.
